This is the tale of a pastor named Tattie, who some people love and others hate. Tattie, along with her husband—also a portly prophet—called Fat Fredison by the kids in the congregation, co-pastors the Tattie & Fred Ministries Church on Carmichael Road in Nassau, Bahamas. Tattie was known for her extraordinary discernment, powerful prophetic anointing, and a wide array of talents: international preacher, teacher, motivational speaker, life coach, playwright, author, gospel artist, and revivalist.

She traveled the world, spreading her message, and was very passionate about training and equipping others to advance the Kingdom of God. Tattie believed in helping people achieve total victory in life. Gifted with great communication skills and remarkable penmanship, she authored books and plays, and even put the Bahamas on the map by appearing on major TV networks. She was unstoppable. Or so it seemed.

But one day, Tattie did something unimaginable that caught the public's attention. It started making people question her intentions, as well as whether her devoted congregation had any common sense. And questioning her was considered taboo, almost like questioning whether it was truly God’s work through her.

Despite all her good deeds, she wasn’t scandal-free. Many viewed her as a master manipulator, with some even claiming her prophetic works were a hoax. Rumors swirled through government offices and public spaces, suggesting Tattie charged a hefty fee for spiritual services. Her sermons sometimes felt more like spectacles, and at times, they seemed like charades.

There was one sermon, in particular, where Tattie came out holding a pillow and told her congregation that she was tired and needed rest. She made the pillow a centerpiece of her message, hitting every pain point of her audience. By the end of the sermon, people were buying “dream pillows” for $100 each, convinced that these pillows had special powers. It was a brilliant move, and people were inspired to buy in droves.

But not everyone was buying Tattie’s pillows. Curviee Bowles, a woman who ran an elder care facility on the island where Jonquell recently caused controversy by taking her same sex lover with her, was watching that very sermon. Inspired by Tattie’s ability to convince people to buy ordinary pillows, Curviee thought to herself, “If Tattie can sell pillows, I can sell an...
