Most people who knew them could see it. There was no doubt that a fierce rivalry was brewing between political hopefuls Neshaa and Gippy. Both attended Flamingo University, where they studied Political Science, humorously called Trick-o-nomitry. It was a diversionary political style where a novice would enter the arena poor and somehow leave inexplicably wealthy.
Gippy was naturally proficient in Trick-o-nomitry, excelling in his studies. His brilliance and the ease with which he mastered concepts fueled Neshaa’s envy. She desperately wanted to be the best, but her frustration grew as Gippy consistently outshone her.
After graduation, both pursued careers in law and eventually became tied to a popular Bahamian political party, widely recognized for its fiery red branding. Over time, Gippy’s star began to rise faster than Neshaa’s, and her jealousy turned into deep resentment.
Gippy became a serial entrepreneur, launching several successful businesses. His ability to connect with people and build support made him a favorite within the party. Soon, he was chosen as their candidate for one of the islands in the Bahamas that is famously long, and he won his seat in Parliament.
As his political influence grew, so did Neshaa’s bitterness. While she achieved some success of her own, her journey was not without controversy. Initially appointed to a position in one of the government chambers, she managed to gain some recognition. Eventually, she too became a Member of Parliament, securing a Cabinet position.
For a while, Neshaa seemed to thrive. But her ego soon took control, and her actions began to draw scrutiny. One of her most infamous blunders was using government funds to print school awards featuring her likeness. The move sparked public outrage and made her a laughingstock.
Gippy, ever the opportunist, seized the moment. He became her loudest critic, mercilessly trolling her at every opportunity. His relentless taunting only deepened Neshaa’s resentment, fueling her desire for revenge.
Humiliated and seething with anger, Neshaa decided it was time to strike back. She knew a thing or two about the inner workings of the Bahamian policing system, particularly its darker, corrupt side. She saw an opportunity to weaponize this knowledge to destroy Gippy’s career.
Digging into Gippy’s personal life, she uncovered a secret—Gippy had been unfaithful to his girlfriend on multiple occasions. To solidify her case, she enlisted the help of Jeremy, a local vagrant and social media sensation, known for his manipulative, and homosexual tendencies. Jeremy’s connections and lack of scruples made him the perfect person to gather the evidence she needed.
With Jeremy’s help, Neshaa prepared to unleash her plan. But unknown to her, Jeremy was not just a double agent but a triple agent. He also informed Gippy of Neshaa’s scheme, giving him a chance to retaliate.
Forewarned, Gippy devised a plan to turn the tables on Neshaa. He reminded her of one of their Trick-o-nomitry lessons: how to discreetly acquire wealth by awarding government contracts. Posing as an ally, he suggested a scheme to help her enrich herself, knowing her ego and greed would compel her to act.
As expected, Neshaa took the bait. She implemented the fraudulent scheme, awarding lucrative contracts to her allies.
But Jeremy alleged that Neshaa also gave Gippy advice on how to run a similar scheme. At the time, Gippy was the head of the Water Department. Acting on her suggestion, he assembled a team of insiders to carry out the contract scam. In a calculated move, Neshaa advised him to include someone close to him for emotional support. Gippy, trusting her advice, involved his girlfriend in the scheme.
With her trap set, Neshaa made her move. She approached Gippy’s girlfriend, armed with evidence of his...
